The past two decades have seen a dramatic increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters. With each subsequent incident, the death toll, destruction, and trauma are incrementally worse for the vulnerable communities.
Since 2003, IMANA has played a role in responding to over 20 natural disasters of varying degrees with immediate life-saving aid and humanitarian assistance. Our work doesn’t just save lives; we aim to help rebuild communities that have experienced unthinkable tragedies in those disasters.
The Covid-19 pandemic exposed cracks in health systems that have disproportionately harmed the most marginalized population, especially in developing nations. In order for IMANA to effectively respond with meaningful disaster relief efforts, your support significantly impacts in maintaining the resources we need at times of such crises.
