Transform Healthcare with a Gift
Generosity comes in many forms, and it’s often the best way for you to support important causes that matter the most to you in your life. When you give to IMANA, you help us make a difference.
Start here by learning the different gift options available to you. We will work with you to find a charitable plan that lets you provide for your family and support IMANA.
Tax-Free IRA Gift
A Tax-Saving Way to Help IMANA “Qualified Charitable Distributions”
If you are 70½ years old or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to benefit IMANA and receive tax benefits in return. A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a distribution of up to $100,000 from an IRA after an individual reaches age 70 1/2 that is paid directly to a qualified charity such as IMANA. The QCD is tax-free to both the IRA owner and the charity.
The “Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015” (PATH Act) enacted on 12/18/2015 made Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) from IRAs permanent. As a donor, you are free to make annual gifts to our organization this year and well into the future and continue to receive the tax benefit.
