SaveLives Vaccination Campaign
IMANA joins FEMA & HHS to vaccinate America
IMANA has been identified by FEMA & HHS as a trusted partner to provide volunteers for the national Covid-19 vaccination campaign. Apart from signing up its own members, IMANA is offering its registration platform for volunteers from other healthcare organizations and associations as well.
Once registered, IMANA will credential the volunteers and confirm their participation individually. FEMA will provide air travel and reimburse for board & lodge and local transportation; it will get in touch with the volunteers directly to make those arrangements. Liability for vaccination campaign workers and volunteers is covered through the Prep Act and by the concerned state.
A minimum of two weeks commitment is required to join this campaign.
We are seeking volunteers from among Physicians, Dentists, NPs/PAs, RNs/LPNs, EMTs, Pharmacists, and Veterinarian who can volunteer their time for this national campaign. Retired individuals who have held a valid license within the past 5 years are also eligible to volunteer subject to providing a copy of their most recent valid license.

You may, but not right away. IMANA will credential all registrants and confirm their participation via email within 2-3 days of signing up. The same information will also be conveyed to FEMA.
How many days do I need to volunteer for?
A minimum of two weeks commitment is required to join this campaign.
What about travel, accommodation and food?
They will also book an appropriate hotel. However, volunteers will pay for the hotel, car rental and food upfront and FEMA will then reimburse it via direct deposit on completion of the trip. While hotel, car rent, fuel, parking, tolls etc. will be paid on actuals, food is paid on a fixed per diem basis. FEMA will share the claims/reimbursement procedure with each individual.
