The pandemic had halted all elective surgeries in Pakistan, but now with some ease on restrictions, the IMANA-sponsored vision care project was cautiously restarted. Dr. Khalid Dogar, an ophthalmologist leads this exemplary effort to perform cataract surgeries in remote areas of Pakistan. Despite the limitations imposed by lockdowns, Dr. Dogar has provided over 1000 cataract surgeries and over 400 minor eye procedures this year.
