IMR collaborated with AAMMF to establish the Ummah Clinic in Athulugama in 2013, and has since then provided supports for its annual operating expenses totaling $25,000. The health clinic provides comprehensive healthcare to the local population who cannot otherwise afford healthcare. Ummah Clinic benefits almost 12,000 patients yearly. Patients have benefited from the free treatment and medicines provided by the Ummah Imana Clinic in Athulugama since it started functioning in 2014. 161,951 patients have received treatment up until December 2024.
Over the past decade, our free treatment program has touched hundreds of thousands of lives.
Starting from just 10,855 patients in 2014, the number steadily grew through the years, peaking dramatically in 2019–2020 with over 67,000 patients served each year.
After the pandemic, the program stabilized, reaching 22,621 patients in 2024 — more than double the 2014 level.
