“Preventing and Managing Chronic Disease”
Saturday, September 3rd, 2016
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM | Room 32
IMANA has thoughtfully developed topical health sessions that will serve the needs and interests for all who attend. We have invited speakers and leaders from various healthcare disciplines to shed light on issues that are relevant and hold stigma in the Muslim community. Sessions range from understanding mental health care, women’s health rights, biomedical ethical issues such as organ donation, and conversations about our healthcare system. We’ve included a networking session for students and physicians and much more. Learn from your peers and speakers before, during, and after our events. The conversations don’t stop at the podium.
