Symposium in Trauma and Critical Care

Trauma and critical care providers are invited to attend this conference, which is focused on the education of acute care service specialists regarding lessons learned in telemedicine in surgery and novel developments in trauma resuscitation. This event will take place Oct. 1 in Toledo and is hosted by Drs. M.Y. and Shaheda Ahmed.

Student/Resident Spotlight

IMANA student member Usman Baqai is an MD/PhD student at the Thomas Jefferson University Sidney Kimmel Medical College. In his spare time he serves as volunteer coordinator for the SHAMS Clinic in Philadelphia, where he helps provide free primary health care and social services to all individuals. As the clinic grows in scope, he invites interested persons to volunteer.
