Thousands of civilians continue to face the consequences of the devastation through the breakdown of Ukraine’s public infrastructure. With a lack of resources, many Ukrainians have and will continue to be displaced from their homes. In searching for safe havens, they will also face having to navigate the challenge of fulfilling their most basic needs.

An IMANA board member was on the ground in Romania to assess and explore options for logistics and medical relief. Shortly after, in conjunction with Scherazade Foundation, two trailers with 22 tons of life saving medications and supplies (valued over $15.3 million) were transported to Chernivtsi, Ukraine through Romania for distribution to various hospitals across the country.
