Specialty: Anesthesiologist Biography: Dr. Ismail Mehr is an anesthesiologist in Hornell, New York and is affiliated with St. James Mercy Hospital. He received his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and has been in practice between 11-20 years. Dr. Mehr became involved with IMANA while in his final years of residency and upon completion of residency began to increase his involvement. At the time IMANA was beginning its role of becoming an internationally respected medical relief organization. Dr. Mehr also served on the IMANA executive committee in various capacities becoming IMANA President in 2013.

Specialty: Psychiatry and Neurology Biography: Dr. Ahmed was born in Hyderabad Deccan – India in 1935. He Graduated from Osmania University, and completed his Medical degree from DOW Medical College, Karachi University. He is currently one of the IMANA’s board of regent members. He started career as a Medical Director of Psychiatric Unit in St. Louis State Hospital and Director of Psychiatry at St. Louis County General Hospitals. His interest in academic psychiatry led him to New York in 1971, where he served as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and also the Executive Director of the Community Mental Health Center (1971-1976).
