7-Night IMANA Umrah CME Itinerary:

DAY 1 | Monday, April 2nd

Departure – Today the group will be leaving from JFK on Saudi Airlines Flight #20 at 5:00 PM. The flight is a non stop flight and will arrive in Jeddah at 11:45AM April 3, upon arrival the group will be moved upstairs for their connection flight to Medina.

DAY 2 | Tuesday, April 3rd

Arrive at Jeddah airport. After immigration and customs, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your domestic flight to Madinah, at Medina airport our representative will meet you and transfer you to your Madinah hotel which is just a few steps to the entrance of Al Masjid  Al Nabawi. We will help you check-in to your hotel. After some rest, you may go and pray in Al Masjid Al Nabawi, and say ‘Salaam’ to the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings be upon him).

DAY 3 | Wednesday, April 4th

  • CME will happen during different times of the day, including after breakfast and some prayers. Location will be announced later.
  • After ‘Asr pryaers, attend a lecture by our Imam. The time and location will be provided later.

After ‘Isha pryaers, sisters will be escorted to visit Al Rawdah. The time and location to meet will be announced.

DAY 4 | Thursday, April 5th

  • CME will happen during different times of the day, including after breakfast and some prayers. Location will be announced later.

InshaAllah, after CME, our representative will provide you with a guided tour of the religious and historical sites in Madinah. On board air-conditioned bus, you will be provided a tour of:

  • The mountain of ‘Uhud where the battle of ‘Uhud took place including the cemetery where the Shohada of ‘Uhud are buried, including Hamza (May Allah be pleased with him), the uncle of the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him).
  • Al Masjid Al Quba which is the first Masjid in Islam and was built by the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) and his closest companions (May Allah be pleased with them).
  • Al Masjid Al Qiblatain which has the distinction of being the only masjid where obligatory congregational prayer was held facing both the old Qibla (Al Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem) and the present Qibla (Al Masjid Al Haram in Makkah) in the same
  • The area known as Saba Masajids representing the places where the believers camped during the battle of the Trench. This includes the camp site of the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) known as Al Masjid Al Fath and that of Salman Al Farsi (May Allah be pleased with him) whose idea it was to dig a trench wide and long and wide enough to confound the enemy who were not expecting it.

“A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves”. (Qur’an At Tauba: 108)

Reminder: Hadith on the merits of praying in Al Masjid Quba

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said “Whoever makes ablutions at home and then goes and prays in the Mosque of Quba, he will have a reward like that of an Umrah”.

Reminder: Hadith about Jabal Uhud

Anas b. Malik (Allah be pleased with him) with another chain of transmitters (and the words are):“Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) cast a glance at Uhud and said: Uhud is a mountain which loves us and we love it.”

 

  • After ‘Asr prayers, attend a lecture on the “Fiqh of Umrah”. The time & location will be provided later.
  • Insha’Allah, in the evening we will have a “Walkabout Tour” around Al Masjid Al Nabawi. The time and place to meet will be provided

 

DAY 5 | Friday, April 6th

Insha’Allah, after Jomaa prayer, depart from Madinah aboard air-conditioned bus to Makkah. On the way, you will stop at the Meeqat at Dhul Hulaifa (also known as Abyaar Ali) where you will enter into the state of Ihraam with the intention to perform Umrah. Upon arrival in Makkah, our representative will help you to first check into your hotel and then you will proceed to Al Masjid Al Haram to perform Umrah.

DAY 6 | Saturday, April 7th

 

Today is a free day for you to spend time performing prayers and Tawaf at Al Masjid Al Haram

 

Reminder: Relevant Hadith

Abu Ad-Dardaa’ (RA) narrated on the authority of the Prophet (PBUH), that the reward for praying at the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah) is equal to the reward for one hundred thousand regular prayers; the reward for praying at the Prophet’s Mosque (in Madeenah) is equal to the reward for one thousand regular prayers; and the reward for praying at the Al-’Aqsa Mosque (in Jerusalem) is equal to the reward for five hundred regular prayers.

 

Reminder: Relevant Hadith

Abdullah bin Umar (RA) said, “Speak little when you are performing Tawaf, for you are in a state of Salat.”

 

DAY 7 | Sunday, Apr 8th

 

After breakfast, Insha’Allah, our representative will provide you with a guided tour of the religious and historical sites in Makkah. On board air conditioned bus, you will be provided a tour of:

  • Cave of Thaur where the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) hid for a few days at the beginning of the migration to Madinah
  • Mena, Arafaat and Muzdalifah. In Arafaat, you will have the opportunity to see Jabal Al Rahmah
  • Jabal Al Noor on top of which is located the cave of Hira where the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) received his first revelation
  • Al Mualla cemetery where Khadija (May Allah be pleased with her) is reportedly buried along with many of the companions (May Allah be pleased with them)

DAY 8 | Monday, April 9th

  • Insha’Allah, early in the morning, you will be transferred aboard air-conditioned bus to Jeddah airport for your return flight to USA.
