In 2020, IMANA will be organizing opportunities for Muslim public health professionals to advocate on the climate crisis at the state and federal level. Stay tuned.
Currently, there are a number of resources and networks available to public health professionals interested in advocating for climate solutions at the state and national level:
- Healthcare Without Harm’s Green Physician Network provides doctors with access to a national network of other physicians advocating on climate policy and resources for greening office operations
Our public health partners in the following states are also active on climate advocacy.
If you do not see your state, and would like to start a public health-focused climate advocacy group in your state, resources are available to assist you with the process.
