IMANA’s Chicago Gala Dinner was an evening full of inspiration by the presence and speeches of our accomplished guests – Ryan Harris, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, Bilqis Abdul-Qaadir, Husain Abdullah, Ibtihaj Muhammad, and Abdulhakim Mohammed. It was truly a night to remember. We thank our guests and all of you who attended the dinner.Your support is life-changing and life-saving for people in need around the world.

51st Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly Call for abstracts
Among the activities at the Annual Convention, the CME Committee is organizing an advanced learning environment for physicians in a rapidly evolving healthcare field. The theme of the CME is “Travel Medicine” and a diverse faculty will cover it with various engaging topics. Registrants are encouraged to submit the abstracts on the theme of the CME.
Preference will be given to the following abstracts: Disaster Relief, Travelling with Children, Chronic Disease, Immune Compromised Travelers, and Pregnant Women.
During the Convention we will also have spiritually engaging lectures and prayers by Mufti Hussain Kamani and Sheikh Abdulhakim Muhamed.
The AED class instructs participants on how to save a life in the event of a cardiac emergency. The primary outcome is to successfully implement a holistic heart health program, a community-based program to apply best practices to reduce out of hospital mortality.
The latest session was on May 19 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Lake Zurich, IL.
IMANA HQ last week was preparing for Ramadan with a fundraising course for the staff led by Dr. Richard Klopp. The course included details on creating effective fundraising campaigns, implementation, setting up roles, goals, and building better relationships with donors and potential IMANA ambassadors.
