Dr. Asim Kidwai
Dr. Asim Kidwai is a family medicine physician. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic in 2005. He completed his residency in family medicine at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia in 2010, where he was chief
resident of inpatient service and the vice-chair of the quality improvement committee.

Dr. Kidwai is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association. He is also certified in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, and neonatal resuscitation.
He is a devoted medical volunteer and has participated in numerous medical relief efforts, including being a lead for IMANA’s Medical Relief efforts. Dr. Kidwai currently practices at Piedmont Physicians of East Ellijay in East Ellijay, Georgia.
